Orchid Auctions
Manly Warringah Orchid Society runs two auctions each year. One on Sunday 18th April 2010 and one on Sunday 14th November 2010.

Warriewood Winter Show
This is usually held during June at the Warriewood Shopping Centre (Jacksons Rd Warriewood) on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. A sales table is provided for the society to sell member’s surplus stock.
The 2010 Warriewood Winter Show will be held on the 17th - 19th June.

St Ives Orchid Show and Fair
The St Ives Orchid Show is an annual event held in August, said to be the biggest orchid event in Sydney. It is jointly organised by a committee made up from Manly Warringah Orchid Society, Ku -Ring -Gai Orchid Society, North Shore Orchid Society and the Australian Native Orchid Society’s Warringah Group. The show consists of displays by societies and growers. This premier event attracts orchid vendors and orchid lovers from interstate as well as from within NSW.
The 2010 St.Ives Orchid Show will be held on the 13th - 15th August at St.Ives Showground on Mona Vale Road St.Ives.

ORCHIDS BY THE SEA
This is Manly Warringah Orchid Society’s main show of the year. It will be held in August at the Dee Why RSL Clubl (Pittwater Rd Dee Why) on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. A sales table is provided for the society to sell member’s surplus stock.(This Show replaces the Mona Vale Show.)
The 2010 Orchids By The Sea Spring Show will be held on the 6th - 8th August

Members and Guests Christmas Party
This is Manly Warringah’s social event of the year, held in early December. The winners of the Annual Benching Points’ Score are announced and the prizes given. A good fun time over dinner and drinks is had by all.
The 2010 Members and Guests Christmas Party will be held on the 5th December.
Home Visits
This is an event that has grown in popularity amongst members. A pre-arranged visit to the home of a member is organised so that all can learn from each other. Novice member’s appreciate having the opportunity to see first-hand how some of their long serving members grow their orchids. Recently Novices have opened their doors to the society which gives others a chance to offer first-hand advice for the novice taking into consideration their own growing conditions. In addition to the educational value, this also turns out to be fun as well.
